Beast Feast

Our church would like to partner and honor the Huron School District. We realize the greatness of our city rests highly in the influence of the entire district but we wanted to specifically recognize its teachers; often these heroes go unnoticed. Many times our teachers see a student in need and without being asked, care for them at their own expense. After seeking advice from the school board, our church would like to help create a teacher’s fund where they can provide for students in need. The teachers would have access to the account to purchase practical things like school supplies, clothes, etc. We cheer on and celebrate our school district for all its efforts in investing into the next generation and making our city, state, and country a better place.

We want to hold an event called Beast Feast, a wild-game themed supper for adults, on June 16 from 5:30-8:00p at Huron First Assembly of God in Huron, SD. The food served will be wild game meals. During the evening we will have a coffee bar, photo booth, and other fun attractions. All proceeds will go to the Huron School District as our way of showing our gratitude towards them.

We will be inviting Jeremy Curran a special speaker from Cold Spring, MN who just recently returned from Alaska with his dad after successfully calling in and taking down a monster bull moose. He shares the exciting adventure of his hunt and also an encouraging message to parents to make lasting memories with their children.
