Huron Area Arts Council/Huron Event Center Christmas Tree Exhibition
will be open for viewing at the Huron Event Center On Friday Nov 28th following the parade of lights. The exhibition will be opn through January 17th
Individuals or groups wishing to display a tree may begin installing of their entries on November 23rd. No entry free or pre-registration required and trees erected before December 9th will be eligible for judging.
Judging will be conducted for two classes, youth (younger than age 18) and adult. First and second place prizes will be given for beauty and originality in each class. A "Best of Show" award will be given for the most outstanding entry.
Only artifical trees five feet or taller will be permitted and certain material such as hay, straw or other flammable substances may not be used. Electrical outlets are available and participants are required to provide their own extension cords.
Registration my be completed at the time the trees are erected but those wishing more information on requirements may pick up the entry forms at the front desk of the Crossroads/
