Huron Area Arts Council/Huron Event Center Christmas Tree Exhibition
setup will begin on Sunday November 20, 2016 at the Huron Event Center. The trees will be available for viewing following the parade of lights on November 25th. The exhibition will be opn through January 20th
Individuals or groups wishing to display a tree may begin installing of their entries on November 20th. No entry free or pre-registration required and trees erected before December 9th will be eligible for judging.
Judging will be conducted for two classes, youth (younger than age 18) and adult. First and second place prizes will be given for beauty and originality in each class. A "Best of Show" award will be given for the most outstanding entry.
Only artificial trees approximately 6 feet or taller will be permitted and certain material such as hay, straw or other flammable substances may not be used. Electrical outlets are available and participants are required to provide their own extension cords.
Registration may be completed at the time the trees are erected but those wishing more information on requirements may pick up the entry forms at the front desk of the Crossroads.
