Huron Area Community Theater Performance of The Cemetery Club

The Huron Area Community Theatre is pleased to announce the performance of The Cemetery Club by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, Inc. It is written by Ivan Menchell and directed by Leo Jensen and Annette Bowen. The Cast is Jenifer Huehl, Kristy Hubbard, Diane Clayton, Leo Jensen and Annette Bowen. There are 4 performances at the Fine Arts Theatre , 939 Ohio Ave SW, in Huron 7pm on August 3rd,4th, 5th  and 7th and at 2pm on August 6th. It will also be performed at the DeSmet Event and Wellness Center , 705 Wilder Lane, DeSmet SD at 7pm on August 11th and 12th. A trio of Jewish widows, calling themselves “The Cemetery Club” gather every week to visit the graves of their husbands and then go to the local deli to hash out the details of their lives. It’s a good routine until one of the widows finds a beau. This bittersweet comedy about the challenges faced by women over fifty face as they try to put the past behind them and move into uncharted territory is sure to please the audience.
