You are invited to attend the annual Huron Community Campus Open House anytime from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30th.. Huron Community Campus is located at 939 Ohio Ave SW in Huron. We will have representatives from Northern State University and Dakota Wesleyan University. Programs include:
The Huron Community Campus is once again offering two years of general education classes at $40 per credit hour plus a $10 per credit hour rental fee. All classes are offered through Northern State University and are fully accredited, transferrable, and federal financial aid eligible. Student who complete the entire two-year program will graduate with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies and will have completed all general education requirements set forth by the SD Board of Regents. Students can go at their own pace and pursue part-time or full-time study.
- Nursing – An Associate of Science in Nursing (R.N)
- General Studies – The first two years of general education classes including math, English, science, humanities, and social science
- Summer Intensive English – Northern State University offers all students, whose primary language is not English, the opportunity to improve their English language proficiency through their Intensive English Program (IEP)
