Huron Public Library presents Phyllis Schrag's "Letters from the Attic"

Phyllis Schrag will give a perspective of the life and times of people who settled in Dakota Territory. The presentation is based on 50 letters in German script addressed to Schrag’s great-grandfather, F.J. Meier. These letters were carefully saved, never translated and handed down through the generations; they detail faith, personal experiences and the agrarian nature of Dakota Territory between 1878 and 1879.
