- CALL TO ORDER
- Approve the minutes of February 12, 2014.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Bills.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Agenda.
- Old Business
- Discuss the steering committee meeting for the master plan held February 25. Action need: Based on any other input.
- Set a bid date to open the bids on the Kunhart Field concession and bathroom building and review Huron Softball Association minutes. Action needed: Motion to set bid date in cooperation with building specification completion.
- Mention that a draft of the SDGF&P trails grant and proposed board match will be reviewed at the March 4th meeting of the Lake and Riverfront Committee. Action needed: None, for informational purposes only.
- Mention the improvement to the exercise room at the Campus Center. Action needed: None, for informational purposes only.
- Mention the agreement with county offices at the Campus Center. Action needed: Based on agreement.
- New Business
- Mention the frost heave/damage to the Mountain Dew concession/bathroom building and that we may need to hold off on the plumbing replacement. Action needed: Based on the plan for repair of the building.
- Mention items that the department will be helping with during the State Bantom Hockey Tournament at Bergman Arena. Action needed: None, extra labor is necessary for the weekend.
- Review the minutes of the Huron Hockey Association and any amount considered for the “Glide and Slide” shelter at Prospect Park. Action needed: None, for informational purposes only.
- Mention the tennis facility meeting and level of priority with the school system for new tennis courts. Action needed: Based on meeting results.
- Review Ravine Lake Arts Festival information as planned for July 26 & 27, 2014. Action needed: None, review sponsorship requests that will be made to businesses.
