- CALL TO ORDER
- Approve the minutes of August 19, 2015.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Bills.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Agenda.
- Old Business
- Mention budget cuts for 2016 and Parks & Recreation fee structure as suggested to meet 2016 revenue budget projections. Action needed: Motion to approve if agreement can be reached.
- Review four paws pool party and overall attendance for the last two weeks at Splash Central. Review cost proposal of pool rental for a day and consider Huron Swim Team use of the facility for next year. Action needed: Motion to set fees for next season.
- Report of the team numbers and field usage for the state coed softball tournament on September 12-13, 2015. Action needed: None, based on improvements necessary.
- New Business
- Review gross sales reports/equipment lease for Putters & Scoops at Ravine Lake and mention improvement listing for the area. Action needed: Based on budget available for work to be done.
- Report on the America in Bloom Conference attendance. Action needed: Based on tourism and visitation programs.
- Report on progress at the Ravine Lake Island restoration project. Action needed: None, contractor work will be supervised by the city engineers office and assistance from Stockwell Engineering Consultants. Work will continue until up to October 31, 2015.
- Report on contractor progress on the replacement of Memorial Park trail. Action needed: Based on billings received from the contractor and completion.
- Mention mosquito control program for the city and the state fair. Action needed: Based on population numbers and rainfall events.
- Consider campground policies and reservation system. Action needed: Based on agreement.
