- Approve the minutes of December 10, 2014.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Bills.
- Approval of the Parks & Recreation Agenda.
- Old Business
- Review asbestos removal billing for the old swimming pool. Action needed: None, discuss what will be done as the next step for demolition of the structure.
- Review the number of applications at this time for the Central Park/Splash Central positon opening. Action needed: Mention proposed closing date for applications.
- Update on building construction and possible opening of the Slide and Glide Shelter. Action needed: None, flooring estimates should be available soon.
- Report on the meeting with Stockwell Engineering and items to focus on for development at the James River and Ravine Lake. Action needed: Based on agreement.
- New Business
- Review any proposals for contract operations at Ravine Lake for the 2015 season. Action needed: Based on motions and agreements.
- Mention the 2nd session of figure skating lessons and holiday open skating schedule indoors and possibly outdoors. Action needed: Based on weather conditions outdoors.
- Review condition of Zamboni ice resurfacers for the season. Action needed: Based on repairs needed.
- Mention part-time applications are being taken by the department. Action needed: Based on time for interviews and hiring processes.
