At Iverson Auto in Huron and Mitchell, we are looking for a dedicated and quality-focused team member for our open role as Lube & Light Duty Technician.
Previous experience is NOT required, but is a plus! We will train the right person.
Duties Include:
- Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay aware of rapidly changing technology.
- Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
