Job Description

Position: Clerk for Beadle County Register of Deeds Office (30 Hours a Week) 

1. Duties to include but not limited to:
   • Addressing customers questions
   • Completing searches for customers, lawyers, banks and search companies
   • Supplying copies of Birth, Death & Marriage Certificates
   • Issuing Marriage Licenses
   • Maintain Death and Marriage Cards
   • Record County Liens
   • Record & Compare documents in books & computer
   • Will act as a floater between other county offices 
2. Must maintain a sense of confidentiality
3. 3. Have proficient computer and typing skills.
4. Be able to multitask
5. Lift up to 20 pounds
6. Some accounting experience required
7. Must have legible handwriting
8. Must be able to count back change
